This study investigated the concentrations of K-40 and Cs-137 radioactivity in fishery products produced in Jeju, and evaluated the annual effective dose of internal exposure that can occur when ingesting these products. The range of radioactivity concentration of K-40 in the Jeju fishery product samples was 42.5-128.9 Bq/kg. The radioactivity concentration of K-40 in mackerel was high as 128.9 and 103.6 Bq/kg. All of the Cs-137 radioactivity concentrations of the fishery product produced in Jeju were below MDA. The annual effective dose range was 0.008∼1.154 μSv/y. Most of them showed values less than 1 μSv/year. Influenced by the annual food intake and the radioactive concentration of K-40, the higher the two values, the higher the effective dose of internal exposure. The annual effective dose of squid with the highest annual intake was the highest value of 1.154 μSv/y.
